i wasn't sure i was going this year because of some of the craziness of last year. but then this girl and this girl said they were coming and asked me to join them. how could i say no? (geigley's husband now thinks we are in love and he is right. shh! don't tell him it's not the lingerie pillow fight kind!) i nudged angie and off we went. soon, we were joined by this girl. with roommates like that, how could the weekend go wrong?
i saw old friends like this girl and this girl and this girl and this girl. i met new ones like this one (i'm pretty sure i'm in love with her) and this one and this one and this one. i finally got to meet this girl in person and sort of wanted to bring her home with me. there are SO MANY more people i could mention. sigh. i drank vodka and wine and actually scrapbooked, which i haven't done in quite a while. i took olan mills shots with becca for the scrapblog atc thing - heh, i wish we had that photo because it ruled. i laughed and ate brisket and carrot cake and bacon (not together). i watched infomercials and MJ coverage. i heard things like "we are all responsible for our own holes" and "big dinners" and "i wonder how much bacon we can fit in an arm hammock?" and "i'll allow it". i barely slept but it was worth it. life is about choices, y'all. just for the record, i choose laughter. always. and the best kind is ridiculous laughter with good friends. i didn't want the weekend to end!
thanks to the peeps i stole some of these photos from. and thanks to everyone who made the weekend so fabulous. i've got a couple giveaways and some photos of the layouts i did as well as my "yearbook" (which seriously has some of the best stuff in it EVER). i can't wait to hang out with you crazy women again really soon!
