insomnia is unkind

it's half past 3am and here i sit. checking my email and the MBs. i was also checking facebook, myspace, etc. etc. because i always forget to do that stuff. i came across a video of my brother surfing. aww. i miss my big brother. it's grainy and he shoots the bird at the beginning, but you get the idea. heh. texas has some nasty water...but it's still nice to see him doing his thing.

i'm sorry to do a post with no photos AGAIN but i seriously have to get some free time soon. for now, i'm off to make some ATCs and listen to the fam play rockband AGAIN. ;)

i feel like a scrambled mess on the inside and each time i open my mouth to speak or set my fingers to keyboard, things fall out in a jumbly pile. clarity is what i seek this week. we'll go with a list just to be safe. :)

things that annoy me today:
- the heat
- feeling inside out
- wanting to go to houston
- cramps
- caprisun pouches all over the place
- mosaic maker acting wonky

i miss making a mess with my friends. if i could do this every single day, i would. laughing, creating, delirium, perfection.

i am home from nashville.

i am ... tired.

i feel like the air has been sucked out of my world, in good ways and bad. i have so often said that this is paper and glue, this thing we do. but i am the kind of girl who, when passionate about something, feels everything in every tiny bit of herself.

meeting so many people, watching so much go on, working my tail off. sensory overload. beauty. laughter. tears. uplifting words. heartache. promise. honesty. friendship.

today, my toes are numb. my eyes are wide open. my heart is beating heavily.
